
Nasscom Foundation has announced Jyoti Sharma as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. She takes over from Nidhi Bhasin. Sharma has over 20 years of experience in social impact, programme development, resource mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement.
According to Nasscom Foundation Chairman Rostow Ravanan, Sharma’s leadership and expertise will help the organisation expand its reach, enhance its flagship programmes, and utilise technology for meaningful change.

Nasscom Foundation, established in 2001, represents the Indian technology industry and focuses on using technology to address social challenges. Sharma plans to build on the foundation’s TechForGood initiatives, aiming to increase its outreach and impact. She stated that her goal is to leverage the synergy between technology and social innovation to support India’s progress toward digital equity and inclusive growth.

Sharma is an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and has held leadership roles in organisations such as Organic Cotton Accelerator, the European Commission, World Resources Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, ActionAid, and Save the Children. She has worked on areas including gender equality, education, climate change, agriculture, child rights, and disaster management, shaping strategies and driving growth in these sectors.
