Infosys has partnered with US-based financial services firm Citizens Financial Group to establish an AI-first Innovation Hub in Bengaluru, further strengthening Karnataka’s position as a global hub for advanced financial technology and digital innovation.
The hub is expected to support innovation in areas such as customer experience, data-driven decision-making, automation, and next-generation financial platforms.
Officials said the initiative reflects growing global confidence in Bengaluru’s ecosystem for artificial intelligence, fintech, and global capability centres (GCCs). The collaboration is also aligned with Karnataka’s broader strategy to attract high-value technology investments and promote innovation-led growth.
The AI-first Innovation Hub will leverage Infosys’ technology expertise and Citizens’ domain knowledge in financial services to build scalable and secure digital solutions. It is expected to play a role in modernising banking workflows and enhancing service delivery through advanced analytics and AI tools.
The Karnataka government said such partnerships reinforce the state’s reputation as a preferred destination for financial technology, global in-house centres, and digital transformation initiatives, driven by a strong talent base and supportive policy environment.
