Hexnode has named Rohit Bist as its new Regional Director for Public Sector Business in India and the APAC region. Under his leadership, Hexnode will increase its presence in the government sector in these regions.

Bist has more than 25 years of experience in the government, defence, and education sectors, as well as public sector undertakings. He was previously working as the Vice President (Government) at Cloud4c. Bist has also served as a Government Leader at Honeywell and worked in firms like Axis Infoline Pvt. Ltd., Samsung and Lenovo.

As the Regional Director, he will help Hexnode build relationships with government agencies, forge partnerships with relevant firms, identify new business opportunities, and connect with top decision-makers within government organisations in the region.

Vikas Bakshi, SVP of Global Strategic Alliances at Hexnode, commented on Bist’s appointment, saying, “Rohit’s vast experience in the government sector, working closely with various government bodies, including Central and State Governments, PSUs, and Strategic Government Partners to build key alliances, will be instrumental in driving Hexnode’s next phase of growth in India.”

Bakshi expressed his confidence in Bist’s business acumen and the connections he has built over the years, which will help Hexnode adapt to its customer’s needs and further strengthen the firm.

Bist stated that he is eager to collaborate with Hexnode’s team and better serve the Public Sector in India and the APAC region.
