Freshworks has appointed Kady Srinivasan as its Chief Marketing Officer, effective January 7, 2026. Srinivasan brings over 15 years of leadership experience driving large-scale marketing transformations at high-growth SaaS companies.
In her new role, Srinivasan will lead Freshworks’ global marketing strategy to amplify the company’s mission of delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences through uncomplicated service software. She will report to Mika Yamamoto, Freshworks’ Chief Integrated Customer Growth Officer, who continues to oversee marketing, customer support, and small business and commercial sales organizations.
Srinivasan most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at You.com, an AI search infrastructure company, and Lightspeed Commerce. During her tenure at Lightspeed, she achieved remarkable results including doubling market share in key regions, quadrupling marketing efficiency, and helping drive 25 percent year-over-year growth at scale. Her leadership contributed to the company achieving its first profitable quarter in two decades.

Prior to Lightspeed, Srinivasan held senior positions as SVP and Global Head of Marketing at Klaviyo, and Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Owlet Baby Care. She currently serves as a Venture Advisor at Relay Ventures and advises high-growth AI startups including HighTouch and Doss.
Srinivasan holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from RV College of Engineering. Commenting on her appointment, she expressed enthusiasm about joining Freshworks during what she described as a pivotal moment where AI defines the future of service.
