
EnerMech has appointed Chetan Bhat as its new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), tasked with leading the company’s business systems and digital strategy.
In his new role, Bhat will oversee IT governance, security, risk management, and digital transformation at EnerMech, reporting to Chief Transformation Officer, Jose Xavier. His responsibilities include implementing IT best practices, managing IT budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all while driving the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Bhat has over 20 years of experience in IT leadership and specialises in manufacturing, technology, and energy sectors. Previously, he worked with Maverick Natural Resources, where he developed a multi-year IT strategy, and refined technology investment governance, offering advice on IT risks, needs, and costs.

Bhat has also held leadership roles at Roper Technologies and several GE divisions, including Oil & Gas, Security, Commercial Finance, and Aero Energy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Bombay University.
