The investment round also saw contributions from Wipro Ventures, Venture Highway, AME Cloud Ventures, Frontier Ventures, Maum Group, and Firebolt Ventures, showcasing strong confidence in Ema’s vision and technology.
The company recently unveiled its groundbreaking AI system, dubbed the Universal AI Employee. This innovative AI tool is adept at handling a multitude of complex tasks across various sectors, offering unparalleled accuracy and reliability. This, in turn, promises to accelerate technological adoption and significantly improve productivity, according to the firm.

Designed to mimic the competencies of a human worker, the Universal AI Employee is capable of engaging in dialogues, understanding contexts, receiving ongoing feedback from humans, reasoning, making decisions based on informed judgements, and collaborating with human colleagues on intricate assignments.

Ema has developed this AI system as a unified platform that effortlessly integrates with a plethora of enterprise applications, eliminating the extensive time usually required for technology onboarding.
Surojit Chatterjee, the Founder and CEO of Ema, expressed enthusiasm about the journey ahead, stating, “We are just beginning a journey that will redefine the interaction between humans and synthetic intelligence, aiming for a more cooperative, efficient, and satisfying workplace!”
Subrata Mitra, a partner at Accel, highlighted the potential of Gen AI to revolutionize enterprise efficiency, a sentiment widely acknowledged by Chief Experience Officers (CXOs) worldwide. “To realise this potential at scale, fostering seamless cooperation between human workers and AI is essential. At Ema, we simplify the automation of complex enterprise tasks through straightforward dialogues,” Mitra added.
