CtrlS Datacenters has committed Rs 500 crore towards the development of a new data facility in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The project, to be set up on a five-acre site at Badwai IT Park allocated by the state government, marks a strategic step in enhancing India’s digital infrastructure.
Expected to roll out in phases, the upcoming data center will create around 200 employment opportunities and support the region’s evolving technology ecosystem.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place virtually, with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav officiating the launch during the Tech Growth Conclave 2025 held in Indore. This initiative supports the state’s recent tech-forward policies, including the IT, ITeS and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023 and the Global Capability Centers Policy 2025, aimed at transforming Madhya Pradesh into a leading destination for global digital investment.

The state government has set ambitious goals to host over 50 international tech hubs and achieve a USD 2 trillion economy by 2047.
