The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced that it has collaborated with Startup India and has shortlisted 16 startups for a demo day to solve its various core challenges.
The Startup India CRPF Grand Challenge, which was announced a couple of months ago, said that it was looking for new concepts, innovations in areas like shoes against spikes, controlling blood loss, and effective utilization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
“The objective of this program is to address critical issues hampering the growth of the security sector in the country by leveraging technical expertise and the best fundamental concepts thus helping talented and creative innovators to pursue promising avenues at the frontier of technology,” CRPF said in a statement.
The program aims to give an opportunity to the startups and individual innovators in the security sector that have commercially viable and innovative solutions to address the security forces’ challenges and concerns.
With this program, the CRPF is trying to find such startups who can come out with innovative solutions to address the critical issues that are hampering the growth of the security sector in the country.
