Azhar Iqubal, co-founder of the news app Inshorts and a Shark Tank India judge, has introduced Fenado AI, a new venture focused on simplifying technology creation. Fenado AI, co-founded with Manish Singh Bisht, former Head of Technology at Inshorts, allows users to create apps or websites within minutes, removing the need for coding knowledge or expensive technical teams. The platform targets early-stage startups, small businesses, and large organisations, offering an accessible way to build digital tools by simply sharing requirements and design preferences through chat.
Azhar explained that Fenado AI aims to address a longstanding issue for entrepreneurs who lack access to affordable tech talent. By enabling businesses to create solutions without technical expertise, the platform levels the playing field for startups and small enterprises, allowing them to compete in the digital space. The company provides end-to-end solutions, ensuring businesses can establish fully functional digital platforms efficiently.
Fenado AI’s platform gained attention during its beta phase, attracting over 200 paying customers from the United States, Europe, and India. The startup plans to expand its reach, aiming to onboard more than 10,000 startups globally by the end of 2025. The platform’s flexibility appeals to businesses in both developed tech hubs and underserved regions, offering reliable and scalable tools that support various industries.

Manish Singh Bisht highlighted how AI enhances the development process, claiming that the technology is more efficient than most human coders. Fenado AI’s approach focuses on scalability, reliability, and ongoing support, which are critical for startups looking to grow without the hurdles of hiring technical talent. By automating the creation process, the platform saves time and ensures quality.
Azhar’s previous venture, Inshorts, established in 2013, became one of India’s leading news apps and attracted significant investment over the years. Building on this success, Azhar aims to disrupt the technology development market with Fenado AI. The goal is to empower businesses worldwide to experiment with new ideas, cut costs, and focus on their primary goals while leaving technical tasks to the platform.
