Birlasoft has appointed Vikram Puranik as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing its focus on strengthening global delivery capabilities as it expands across key markets and industry verticals.

In his new role, Puranik will oversee global operations, with a mandate to optimise delivery frameworks, enhance operational efficiency, and improve client outcomes. His responsibilities will include driving execution discipline and building scalable delivery models aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Puranik brings over two decades of experience in engineering and digital transformation. Most recently, he held senior leadership roles at GlobalLogic, where he led global delivery across communication, consumer, and media verticals.

He has also held leadership positions at Infostretch, Nitor Infotech, and Persistent Systems, gaining extensive experience in managing large-scale delivery organisations and distributed teams.
