Aptia Group has recently declared the induction of Roopa Abraham Kocchar into their team as the Chief People Officer, effective immediately.

Roopa steps into this role armed with an extensive 27-year background in the industry. Her most recent tenure was as the HR Director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) India, where she contributed for a decade. She has also held significant HR leadership positions at Allianz Group, both in Munich and India. In her new capacity, Roopa is charged with the task of enhancing the capabilities of the people team within the group, spanning across multiple geographical locations including the UK, US, India, and Portugal.

Academically, Roopa is equipped with a bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, and sociology from St Joseph’s College of Arts and Sciences. She further holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in HR Development from Symbiosis International University.
