Anjani Kumar has been appointed as the CTO and Executive Vice President of Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, a general insurance firm that is a joint venture between the Tata Group and American International Group.

Kumar comes from the pharmaceutical company Strides, where he supervised the digital strategy of the business for more than three years as Chief Information Officer (CIO).

He has worked in the IT consulting, telecom, automotive, logistics, and pharmaceutical industries throughout the course of his 24-year career. He most recently served in leadership positions in operations and technology at Nissan, Strides, and Safexpress, as well as IBM and Collabera’s profit and loss (P&L) for products and services.
