DTDC Express Ltd. has announced the promotion of Abhishek Chakraborty to Chief Executive Officer. Abhishek Chakraborty steps into his new role with the vision of advancing DTDC as a leader in the logistics sector through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, promoting a culture of continuous learning, and enhancing collaborative efforts.

Upon his appointment, Chakraborty expressed, “It is with great honor and humility that I accept the role of CEO at DTDC. Before his elevation as CEO, Chakraborty contributed significantly to DTDC’s growth during his 15-year tenure as Executive Director. He was instrumental in forging a strategic alliance with Geopost (a subsidiary of La Poste) and initiating the partnership between DTDC and Amarex. A visionary leader, Chakraborty was responsible for launching innovative initiatives such as the MyDTDC app and DTDCShipAssure™, a 100% money-back guarantee service, driving the company to new heights. His efforts expanded DTDC’s network to over 16,000 partners, reaching 96% of India’s demographic and extensively serving the South Asian diaspora globally.
